4-Voice Fatness
Yep, this is still the same gloriously warm Model D sound – but you get 4 voices instead of just 1. This timeless sound has been favoured by countless artists over the years, including Chick Corea, Rick Wakeman and Keith Emerson to name a few.
Behringer have painstakingly created the Model D’s legendary tone, using a quadruple VCO design with reproduced original transistors and JFETs and that 24dB ladder filter. By adding extra voices, this is no longer a bass/lead synth – it’s a fully-fledged analog workstation. Killer!
Added Effects & Sequencing Tools
It’s clear that Behringer know what the people want – who wouldn’t want a 4-voice Model D? But they’ve taken it a step further and equipped the Poly D with effects and intuitive sequencing tools. This unit pays homage to classic synth sounds in its own crazy way.
With distortion modelled on the DS-1 and stereo chorus modelled on the Juno 60. This immediately takes the velvety Model D tones into uncharted territory; add your desired amount of crunch and broaden your leads, basslines and chords with luscious warmth. All things considered, this is a polysynth that combines the best of a bunch of things – get excited.
