Description
The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 4 DANTE (U1/5) is a four-channel digital full-rack (19″) receiver engineered for Evolution Wireless Digital handheld, bodypack and tablestand transmitters. Housed in rugged metal with an internal auto-switching PSU and Dante audio networking, it delivers low-latency SePAC transmission (1.9 ms), 134 dB input dynamic range and secure AES 256 encryption. With up to 88 MHz switching bandwidth and equidistant channel spacing, the receiver supports up to 293 intermodulation-free channels in LD Mode and offers an integrated antenna splitter with loop-through for daisy-chaining multiple units. Four modular network ports are assignable for flexible Control and Dante configurations, while Ethernet (IPv4/IPv6) and remote tools like Sennheiser Control Cockpit, Wireless System Manager and the Smart Assist App (BLE up to 25 metres) simplify large-scale deployment and monitoring. This network-ready design streamlines frequency planning and scales easily for demanding professional workflows.
