Description
The 20 Voice Polyphony upgrade brings four additional voices to your Super 8 synthesiser, increasing polyphony from 16 to 20 and matching the Super Gemini’s voice count. Supplied as a complete kit, it includes four voice cards, all necessary components and an in-depth instruction manual for a simple plug-and-play installation, no soldering or technical expertise required. Before fitting, make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest firmware from our U.D.O’s website. After installing the voice cards and upgrading to firmware v1.33 (or later), perform the built-in autotune by holding MANUAL LOWER + SINGLE together for five seconds while the Super 8 is on hold; the synthesiser will tune the filters across all 20 voices. Once the autotune finishes, power-cycle the unit. On subsequent start-ups, a brief flourish across the patch LEDs will confirm the synthesiser is operating in 20-voice mode. This upgrade delivers a clean, reliable expansion of sonic capability for live and studio use.
