Description
On SynthForSale we are taking a look at the Intellijel Plog – Programmable Logic and Tap Clock – Eurorack Module because it is in UK stock, if you are looking for new Synth Eurorack gear to add to your set up, then check this out now. Read More for ordering and latest prices from a UK retailer .
The Plog is a voltage controlled logic and tap clock. It was designed from the ground up as a companion to sequencers. Using basic, minimal sources, you'll be able to squeeze out some truly complex and evolving rhythms and patterns. By applying CV control to the logic types – either via an LFO or triggered envelope etc – you can create even more impressive sonics too!
Plog-in & Play
What should you use it for though? It's ideal for producing intriguing timbres, and can even be used for self-generating patches. The Plog consists of two logic sections, both of which are highly programmable. Within these you can choose from six boolean logic variants; OR; NOR; AND; NAND; XOR; XNOR. Their individual results are generated from three inputs.
Features
- Run the module at audio rates. Lets you generate intriguing digital tones.
- Save/load the logic section as a preset – ensuring simple and quick recall of patches.
- Toggle section works as a clock divider (delivering both half and quarter divisions).
- Toggle flipflop: separate push button for manually triggering toggle state. Hold the trigger button to enter tap tempo mode.
- Bi-polar voltage control over logic types – both section A/B – alongside dedicated attenuators.
- Dual 3-input logic blocks. Uses normalling, which allows both 2 and 1 input logic modes.
