The PC4 is the next impressive addition to Kurzweil’s highly regarded Performance Controller keyboards range. This fully weighted 88-key model brings together a powerhouse internal sound engine, advanced controller functionality and headline sound generating features to create an incredibly versatile instrument – suitable for both studio and live settings.
Legendary Sound
Kurzweil have a justified reputation for the realism and high-quality nature of their instruments and the PC4 is no different. Piano string resonance modelling grants you with unrivalled acoustic piano performance, going beyond what you may expect an electronic instrument is capable of. An FX engine with award winning compressors, reverbs, delays and more allows you to generate the exact sound that you’re looking for, whatever the situation requires. Throw in 2 gigabytes of carefully selected factory presets from the legendary Kurzweil library (piano, organ, strings, synth, percussion, clav etc) and the possibilities are endless.
Tactile Feel
An 88-note hammer-action keyboard, the PC4 features fully weighted keys with aftertouch – providing you with complete control and feel, while allowing for a deft touch. There is also a serious amount of customisation and creativity to be had here. With 16 simultaneous RIFF generators/note arpeggiators, a 16-track sequencer and 16-zone multi controller mode, it’s possible to craft massive, unique sonic combinations without breaking a sweat.
Enhanced Controls and UI
Move effortlessly through the PC4 menus thanks to a widescreen, colour LCD display. An Easy Category and Program/Multi selection boasting customisable category defaults makes sound selection simple. Transpose controls conveniently located above the pitch and modulation wheels make access extremely easy when needed. Combining this with 36 programmable physical controllers and front panel master transport controls makes for a keyboard that is extremely well rounded.
