Capable of being mounted in a 19” 3U rack, the module provides all the processing power of the large synthesizer for those who are short on space. The introduction of firmware v3 takes your sound design capabilities to the next level with the addition of four new filter types and 15 powerful new effects. One of the most exciting new features is the ‘Vintage’ parameter which emulates the variations in voices associated with classic analog synths. The Argon 8M expands Modals product range, utilising much of the DNA from the popular Modal 002. The sound engine offers eight voices of true polyphonic flexibility. The Argon 8M can also utilise Argon8 Polychaining, which will enable any two Argon’s to be in a master/slave configuration over DIN MIDI giving the user 16 note polyphony. The Argon 8M packs a huge range of features into a portable module for intuitive sound creation.
