If you're looking for a versatile controller that will also comfortably fit in your backpack, this is the one! Nektar Impakt GX Mini withholds all the power of the Impakt series, but in a compact form. The newly designed keybed features 25 velocity-sensitive keys, that will allow you to give your performance that expressivity you look for. Moreover, you can decide between three different velocity curves to adapt to your playing style.
The sleek joystick in the center controls pitch-bend on the horizontal axis and has an assignable MIDI y-axis, with the upwards direction pre-assigned to modulation amount, the downwards direction to expression. You can also plug in a sustain pedal, but again the MIDI message can be assigned to something else.
Impakt GX Mini also features 'Part 2' a newly developed addition, that expands this compact keyboard power. Part Two allows for momentary setup changes at the touch of one button: pressing one of the dedicated Part 2 buttons, GX Mini can transpose the keyboard upor down, switch to another MIDI-channel or layer a second sound on top. p. Once you let go of the button, GX Mini reverts back to the initial configuration

The Impakt GX Mini has Nektar DAW control onboard, meaning that you can enjoy pre-mapped controls and project navigation such as track selection, setting and navigating to locators and opening and closing plug-ins.
What's more, this powerful controller is compatible with most MIDI-based programs on Windows, Mac and iOS and it's USB powered, with no need for additional driver. Impakt GX Mini includes a free license for Bitwig Studio 8-tracks to kickstart your music production right out of the box!
