The Novation MiniNova Synthesizer is a powerful yet compact 37-note polyphonic synthesizer based around Novations UltraNova sound engine providing up to 18 voices and a range of studio-grade effects. Create everything from massive bass tones to pads bells and even sound FX; with the wide range of onboard editing controls you can create virtually any sound you can dream up. At its core the MiniNova features three oscillators with a range of waveforms including 20 digital waveforms and 36 wavetables to choose from. You can also utilise up to two filters per patch with a myriad of filter types at your disposal. You can also incorporate up to 20 modulation slots per patch allowing for in-depth sound design. Add texture to your sound using the various effects on offer (five effects per patch) spanning everything from classic reverb and delays to an EQ compressor and many more. Featuring its own unique vocoder (VocalTune); you can also synthesize your voice while you play a unique technique championed by the likes of Roger Troutman. Showcasing its sonic power the MiniNova also includes 256 presets that you can browse by genre or preset type for quick and easy navigation. From the studio to the stage the MiniNova shines; with five tweakable knobs and eight Animate buttons for unique performance functions. And if thats not enough it also provides space to save an additional 128 of your own custom creations. But thats not all – with the included Patch Librarian you can load and store as many extra sounds on your computer as you could ever need. Navigating through this extensive sound library is a breeze thanks to the MiniNovas intuitive interface. You can now talk or sing into the mic and your voice will automatically be tuned to the notes you play on the keyboard.
