The MiniNova takes the powerful synth engine of the popular Novation Ultranova and puts it in a super compact super cool package with 256 pre-programmed patches including Vocoder and VocalTune effects, all of which are tweakable using the tactile controls and animate punch buttons that really make this a performance keyboard: tweak patches on the go for huge filter swoops (thanks to the big dedicated Filter knob that controls cut off frequency), FX transitions etc

You can fill up 128 user slots with your own sounds built using the MiniNova s 14 conventional waveforms (square, sine, sawtooth, pulse, triangle and combinations), 36 wavetables and 20 digital waveforms for a huge wealth of sounds

With the MiniNova you get Ableton Live Lite, the lightweight version of one of the most popular digital audio workstations around to get started making music And with Loopmasters you get access to a 4GB library of royalty-free samples to inspire or use in your music You also get access to the Novation Sound Collective which provides Novation users with new sounds to explore every few months

MiniNova comes with some of Novation s proprietary software You get the Bass Station VST and AU plug-in synth which is modelled on the classic Bass Station synth, Automap for easily assinging software paramters to hardware controls, a software AU and VST plugin editor and a stand-alone patch librarian
