Second Hand UDO Super 6 Synthesizer #188

Brand

UDO

UDO is a modern British synthesiser manufacturer based in Bristol, focused on building high-end, performance-led instruments with a strong character of their own. The company was founded by George Hearn, formerly of Modal Electronics, and launched with a clear aim: create digital synthesisers that feel as immediate and expressive as classic analogue gear.

UDO are best known for the Super series, which use their proprietary binaural digital synthesis engine. This approach combines FPGA-based digital oscillators with analogue-style signal paths, delivering wide, animated stereo sound while keeping hands-on control at the centre of the experience. The instruments are designed to be played, not programmed endlessly, which has made them popular with touring musicians and sound designers alike.

For SynthForSale, UDO sits in the modern premium synthesiser category — forward-thinking instruments that blend cutting-edge digital technology with a very physical, musician-first design philosophy. They appeal to players who want something distinctive, expressive, and built for long-term creative use rather than mass-market trends.
