The Nektar Impact LX series offers a streamlined set of controller keyboards with deep integration with the most popular Digital Audio Workstations. The LX88+ is the updated Flagship model in the Nektar keyboard range with a full size 7 octave keyboard with semi weighted action and a range of performance and production controls to give a full piano experience without limitation of keys.
Now in its 2nd edition, The LX Plus builds upon it’s predecessor; offering a streamlined set of controller keyboards with even deeper integration with the most popular Digital Audio Workstations and a faster, more intuitive workflow.
Integrated Control
The LX88+ features a 88-note Velocity sensitive keyboard, with semi-weighted keys to give the feel of a real piano. This is combined with your classic pitch and modulation controls, 8 velocity sensitive pads, 9 faders, 8 rotary encoders, transport controls and a range of other buttons including a set of octave and transpose controls so that you can change key or register at any time; giving you full tactile control of your performance, whether in the studio or out on stage. These responsive controls are combined with Nektar’s well known integration to your favourite DAW so that the controller knows what you are doing at all times.
Unique to the 88 key version is the addition of split and layer buttons to play multiple instruments at once. Break the keyboard up into different sections of instruments or layer up your sound for a rich tone. To help you easily navigate your splits, the LX88 has a number of LEDs that light up to show you your current split points.
Plus New Features
The key change in the new LX+ series are the drum pads that have been re-designed to be much more sensitive; so that you can programme your beats with even more depth than before. Nektar are so proud of their new pads that they say they stack up well to even the most advanced, dedicated pad controllers out there.
The other major upgrades in this new series focus on making it even easier to navigate your session using the controller keyboard. This includes new quick select buttons, clear LED back lights for pads and various buttons, and support for even more DAWs like Cakewalk Sonar and MOTU Digital Performer. This means you can select your sounds and parameters quicker than ever before; making changes on the fly with complete confidence in your mix.
