The iRig Pads opens up the world of midi triggers for DJ’s and live producers through an iOS device though it also works with PC and Mac computers. With 16 velocity sensitive pads with 3 colour lighting under each one the iRig Pads not only sends your playing into your software of choice but also feeds back that information so you can quickly adjust and see exactly what is going on with each pad in your set up. You also have 2 MIDI knobs, one slider and a pushbutton rotary encoder which are all completely programable to whatever software you want to use.

Effortless portability
iRig Pads is designed to be effortlessly portable. It’s smaller than an iPad and less than 1″ thick – it’s the smallest groove controller on the market. It has a slim, compact form factor and it’s so lightweight that it can easily be slipped into any backpack or iPad or laptop bag and carried around with ease. iRig Pads is low energy consumption, does not need a power source and draws its power directly from its host device for maximum portability. Extreme versatility, custom controls
At the heart of iRig Pads is its 4×4 grid of 16 velocity-sensitive, backlit multicolour rubber pads. Each pad lights up in three different colours – red, green and orange – to match your playing with the MIDI information coming from your chosen music app or software. But iRig Pads does more than your average mobile pad-based MIDI controller. Its full spread of controls – two knobs, two buttons, one slider and one push-button rotary encoder – let you get creative. All controls are MIDI assignable and customisable: Up to 16 distinct MIDI maps or “scenes” can be saved allowing full control of apps and software both on stage or in the studio. Some scenes are also pre-programmed to work with many of your favourite apps and software right out of the box.
