Korg has been a leading name in synthesizers since the 1970s, establishing itself with the creation of classic analogue synthesizers like the MS-20 and ARP Odyssey. The MS-20, introduced in 1978, became a beloved instrument for its gritty, aggressive sound and semi-modular architecture, making it a favourite in genres from punk to techno. Korg’s recreation of the ARP Odyssey brought a legendary duophonic synthesizer from the 1970s back to life, preserving its unique sound while adding modern features.
