The Aura is capable of full integration with popular DAW programs, offering transport, editing and more directly from the controller. The included Nektarine 2.0 software can run within DAW’s or as a standalone application with full integration with the hardware unit. The Aura provides 16 RGB-lit, pressure-sensitive pads and a variety of modes to help streamline your music production. Pad repeat mode takes full advantage of the pressure-sensitive pads, using pressure to determine the velocity of drum patterns. In this mode, the Aura provides controls for parameters like gate, accent interval, accent velocity offset, swing, trigger mode and clock source. The Aura also features sequencer mode, where 16 LED buttons can store up to 16 different patterns. These can be launched in any combination, with parameters including rate, velocity, accent, gate and swing being user-adjustable.
