Description

The Pittsburgh Modular Taiga Keyboard Synthesizer is an impressive addition to the world of keyboard synthesizers. Building upon the success of the Taiga synthesizer this model features full-sized keys additional modulation options and a unique modular expansion bay. It is a truly powerful and modern instrument that showcases the innovative creations of the Pennsylvania-based analog synth R&D team. With its 37-note aftertouch-equipped keybed the Taiga Keyboard Synthesizer offers a comfortable and responsive playing experience. The synthesizer is fully patchable allowing you to use its components as separate modules with external devices or reroute its internal patching. This versatility opens up a world of creative possibilities. When it comes to sound the Taiga Keyboard Synthesizer truly delivers. It boasts three massive analog oscillators the renowned Pittsburgh Filter and a unique Dynamics Controller that adds warmth and punch to your creations. Incorporate your own external modules via the 24HP expansion bay allowing you to customise your synthesis setup and explore new sonic territory. This allows for even more customization and integration of external sound and modulation sources. Additionally the synthesizer can be controlled via MIDI CV and an integrated pseudo-random sequencing mode making it adaptable to various setups.

Tags

Analog

Products using analogue sound-generation or signal-processing circuitry, also commonly written as analog. Analogue instruments shape continuously varying electrical signals and are often chosen for direct controls, natural variation and a character that responds organically to performance and modulation.

MIDI

Products that send, receive or process Musical Instrument Digital Interface data. MIDI carries performance and control information rather than audio, allowing keyboards, synthesisers, sequencers, computers and other equipment to play and synchronise with one another.

Synth

Products centred on electronic sound generation and synthesis. This tag brings together keyboard, desktop, modular and performance instruments that create or substantially shape their own sounds rather than serving only as controllers.
