  • Roland TM-6 PRO Electronic Drum Kit Trigger Module

Roland TM-6 PRO Electronic Drum Kit Trigger Module

Life as a working drummer is not without pressure. From one job to the next, you'll be expected to move fast and find the perfect drum sound, satisfying your audience, fellow musicians, engineers and the all-important paying client. But that's a big challenge when you're playing a traditional kit. Acoustics can vary drastically from venue-to-venue. Mixing engineers all take a different approach. You could be presented with unknown material with moments to spare, or asked to replicate the drum sound from a studio recording. Life gets much easier when you add the Roland TM-6 PRO to your favourite acoustic drum kit. Smart, simple and discreet, this new trigger module gives you instant and reliable access to every drum sound in the book, on every stage you play.

Every drummer feels the pressure when the clock is ticking, the band are waiting and your kit doesn't sound quite right. The TM-6 PRO lets you walk into any gig and find your sound fast. Designed for hybrid drumming, this trigger module is preloaded with 500 new sampled sounds, from electronic and processed tones to acoustic drum sounds and sound elements. Drummers who dart between jobs can switch between a libraries of sounds in seconds. Try electronic sounds including fat-synth kick, vintage drum machines, claps and SFX, alongside processed sounds like compressed snares and kicks that cut through onstage. Get the best of the old-school, with exceptional-quality preloaded acoustic drum sounds, recorded at world-renowned studios like Real World and Rockfield. Enhance the attack of your snare and bring low-end power to your kick using sound elements. It's all at your fingertips.

Plans can change fast onstage – and that can spell headaches for a drummer playing a traditional kit. With the TM-6 PRO, you can relax and rely on this trigger module's easy and intuitive operation. Using the front panel's three Sound Modify knobs, you have fast and flexible editing options (without getting into deep menu editing), directly controlling common parameters like Volume, Pitch and Decay, alongside the variable +/- 2-octave pitch rate that means it's easy to tune with acoustic drums. If you change the control knob group, then transient attack/release or MFX can be modified using these three knobs. And when you modify the parameters of the 30 MFX types, the most effective parameters for each type are pre-assigned to a knob for intuitive editing. The TM-6 PRO also gives you the edge in the studio, with the newly developed Transient effect that offers flexible control of attack and release. Whatever the musical director demands, you'll be ready to deliver.

  • Roland TM-1 Electronic Drum Kit Drum Trigger Module

Roland TM-1 Electronic Drum Kit Drum Trigger Module

Here's what Roland says about the TM-1 Drum Trigger Module:

No two drummers are the same, and every player has their own distinctive style. Getting a sound that you’re happy with, not to mention having the right sound for the gig, is vital. But it can be expensive and time consuming trying to find out what works. Enter the TM-1—a unique trigger module that makes it easy to add more sounds to your acoustic drum kit. And those sounds can be anything you like, from the TM-1’s onboard kick, snare, tom, cymbal, and percussion samples to your own samples and loops. Just connect any compatible Roland trigger pad to the TM-1 and directly play the sounds you need, or mount an RT-series trigger to one of your acoustic drums and play with your preferred sample layered on top in perfect sync, with no lag whatsoever.

Getting your own custom sounds into the TM-1 is a breeze, thanks to the free editor app for Mac/Windows and iOS/Android.* Simply connect the TM-1 to your device, open the app, import samples from your library, and tweak the settings as needed. When it comes to performing on stage, the battery- or mains-powered TM-1 can be easily controlled with your foot via built-in switches. It’s even possible to mute the hybrid sound with a foot press, letting you go all-acoustic in the verses before bringing in some extra hybrid power for the chorus. Every working drummer can benefit from a hybrid setup these days, and the TM-1 is the easiest and most affordable place to start.

The Simple Solution to Bring Hybrid Power to Your Acoustic Kit

Hybrid drum setups are everywhere these days, from stadium concerts to small clubs and bars. Busy working drummers love the ability to bring studio-style impact to their core acoustic sounds and be able to cover the electronic percussion parts that are so essential to modern music styles. At first, creating a hybrid acoustic-electronic setup can seem daunting. But with the TM-1, it’s easy for any player to start their hybrid journey. Just mount one or more Roland trigger devices within your setup, connect them to the TM-1, and access any sound you need. With dedicated controls for sensitivity, pitch, and more, there’s no technical knowledge required for operation—simply turn the knobs until the sound is right to you and start playing!

Cover Any Gig with 15 Ready-to-Play Kits

When playing on stage with just your acoustic kit, it’s difficult or impossible to change your sound on the fly. But with a hybrid drum kit, changes can be made in an instant. Now you can play the sound of that unique drum you couldn’t bring to the gig, or incorporate samples and loops to enhance and expand your main drum sound. Out of the box, the TM-1 has 15 ready-to-go kits with two instruments in each. The free editor app unlocks access to a library of over 150 additional sounds, including kick, snare, and other drums, and even synth loops. And with the ability to add your own sounds via the editor as well, the sonic possibilities are virtually endless. Whatever you want to achieve, changing your kit’s sound during the set has never been easier.

Editor App for Sample Import and Quick Sound Creation

A hybrid drum setup lets you choose and customize the sounds for your entire setlist, so each song gets the perfect drum sound. With the TM-1 Editor, you’re able to access all the module’s internal sounds, import your own original samples, assign sounds to each trigger pad, and quickly customize them however you like. Samples up to six seconds long can be imported from your computer, tablet, smartphone, or even cloud storage. And you don’t have to take your laptop to the gig to change up sounds at the last second—just use your smartphone!

Enhance Your Acoustic Drum Sounds with Roland RT-Series Triggers

Your acoustic drum sound is king, but it can nearly always benefit from some sonic reinforcement at live gigs. The kick and snare are the backbone to a band’s sound, but it can be a challenge to get them to cut through when playing with loud guitars, bass, and keys. By using Roland’s RT-series acoustic triggers, you can layer samples from the TM-1 with your own kick and snare and amplify them together through the PA, providing increased punch, clarity, and depth that perfectly complements your core acoustic sound. For years, metal drummers have been enhancing their kick drums with electronic samples—especially when playing fast double-kick phrases—as it really helps cut through a dense mix. But this technique isn’t just for speed players; every drummer can take advantage of these powerful hybrid benefits with the TM-1.

Expand Your Percussion Palette with Roland Trigger Pads

The TM-1 is also a great way to expand the variety of sounds available from your acoustic drum kit. By adding an electronic drum pad, you can perform with any sound assigned to it. There are two trigger inputs available, allowing you to connect two single-trigger pads or one dual-trigger pad. Most Roland drum pads work with the TM-1, including the compact BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, V-Pads, and V-Cymbals. It’s even possible to connect BOSS footswitches like the FS-5U or FS-6 and use them as compact floor-based triggers. And don’t forget that you can use the TM-1’s built-in footswitches to trigger sounds as well.

Ultra-Portable and Built for the Road

The TM-1’s compact size lets you take it wherever you want, and the stompbox-style design fits easily alongside your other floor-mounted gear. Better still, support for battery operation eliminates the hassle of finding AC power when you need to set up in a hurry or perform outdoors. The TM-1 is lightweight enough to throw into a bag or instrument case, and robust enough to travel thanks to its metal-body construction and rugged footswitches.

    Trigger-to-MIDI Conversion for Your Computer

Whether you’re producing at home, working in the studio, or performing live, you sometimes need to send a MIDI signal when you hit a pad. The TM-1 performs this trigger-to-MIDI conversion simply by connecting it to a computer via USB, allowing you to trigger sounds in drum samplers and plug-in instruments, record MIDI tracks in a DAW, or control clips and other functions in performance software like Ableton Live.

  • Roland Boutique TB03 Sound Module (TB303)

Roland Boutique TB03 Sound Module (TB303)

SynthForSale proudly features Roland, a name synonymous with quality. The Roland Boutique TB03 Sound Module (TB303) stands out as a refined and capable piece of gear, designed to inspire.

The TB-03 Sound module is one of the second line of modules in the Roland Boutique series, that feature limited run compact modules that recreate the sound of iconic Roland hardware using Roland's advanced ACB (analogue Circuit Behaviour) technology. Roland Boutique units are being made in limited production runs, so order now before our stock runs out!

The First group of Roland Boutique modules focused on classic Roland keyboard synths from yesteryear. This time however, Roland have concentrated on other classic hardware models from their illustrous history, featuring drums, bass and voice effects.

    Back To Bass-ics

The TB-03 is of course based on Roland's TB-303 Bass Line module first released in 1982. Despite the fact that it was only in production for 2 years, the iconic sound of the TB-303 played a defining role in the development of modern Electronic dance music. This is the first time that the TB-303 has been made with it's original look and layout since the original short lived production run; albeit in a more compact size and with a few modern updates.

The TB-03 uses ACB to fully capture the authentic sound and character of the original. The new four-digit LED display allows for enhanced programming, while rotary dials give hands-on control over tuning, cutoff, resonance, envelop mod, decay, and accent. Saw and square waveforms are present, alongside new overdrive, delay, and reverb effects. In addition to the original’s Pitch and Time write modes, there’s an all-new Step mode and fine tempo control, and sequences can continue playing while switching modes. Ports for external gear include a dedicated trigger input to drive the internal sequencer, plus MIDI IN/OUT, USB, and CV/Gate for control over analog gear, modular synths and DAWs.

  • Roland JDXi – Analog / Digital Crossover Synth

Roland JDXi – Analog / Digital Crossover Synth

What happens if you Love the sound of Classic analogue, but appreciate that with modern innovations, the digital age does come with its perks! Roland have now combined the qualities of both in a hybrid synth that's powerful, compact and affordable.

    Analogue & Digital Combined

The JD-Xi combines a true analogue synth engine, Roland's famous SuperNATURAL synth sounds and a range of creative tools into one fantastic little unit that you can pop under your arm and take with you. The age old debate of whether you should choose old school analogue or cutting edge digital when you can have the best of both worlds. This is done by a unique crossover sound engine.

On the Analogue side you can create warm, smooth response with rich and authentic lead and bass tones using a newly developed monophonic analog synth section, featuring saw, triangle and square waveforms with pulse-width oscillator, filter and sub-oscillator for low end power.

In contrast the Digital side offers clarity and versatility of modern synth design with 2 digital synth sections. Featuring the full sound of 128-voice polyphony and a wide range of top quality SuperNATURAL synth tones including pads, strings, electric piano, sound effects and many others, you're pretty spoiled for choice. And even if you did run out of sounds, Roland's Axial Library gives you even more sounds to download as and when you need them.

It's not just about the Sound Engines

Although the tones you get from the JD-Xi are pretty cool, there's so much more that you can do with them, thanks to the wide range of functions available. There's 4 simultaneous effects sections to shape your individual tones. What may start as a simple triangle wave can be completely transformed when you have processing like bit crusher, slicer and ring modulation to choose from combined with Dedicated Delay and reverb sections for some serious ambiance!

Or Maybe you could plug in the included sturdy gooseneck mic and really go crazy with the Vocoder and autopitch. There's even a cool Auto-Note function that allows you to forget the keyboard and just sing the notes you want the synth to play.

You also get some features to help develop your ideas into full demos. Set off a pro drumkit or rhythm loop to help you get into the groove, and then build up your song using the Four-track pattern sequencer. With this you get 4 separate tracks (2 digital synth parts, analog synth, and drums) to create loops. Whatever you find is the easiest and quickest way to create beats, you can use realtime or step sequence or even the special TR-Rec mode to input your music. There's even some preset beats to help you get your creative juices flowing.

    The Juno legacy continues!

Standing as one of the most iconic and beloved analogue synth series ever produced, Roland's JUNO series is an undisputed classic of the synth world and has had a huge impact on music of all kinds over the last four decades. The JUNO-60 and JUNO-106 played a huge role in the emergence of countless electronic styles and featured on an endless list of '80s pop hits!

The JUNO-X brings the best of the past together with Roland's latest tech, reimagining the vintage JUNO experience with greatly expanded tools and creative possibilities tailored for today's musician. The full capabilities of the native ZEN-Core engine merge with authentic recreations of JUNO synths and other legacy Roland instruments.

    Three is the magic number

JUNO-X gives you the sounds of the JUNO-60 and JUNO-106 in all their glory, plus a new JUNO-X engine to bring the classic sounds of the past into the present!

    JUNO-X

The new JUNO-X is a natural evolution of the historic JUNO voice, an enhanced version of Roland's famous Super Saw Waveform allows you to create even fatter sounds and the velocity sensitivity, pitch envelope control and more allow you to get even deeper into crafting your sound. The new Chorus III mode is a great addition to the two famous chorus modes from the original JUNOs!

    JUNO-60

In 1982, Roland presented their JUNO-60 synthesizer – a landmark instrument that had a massive impact on the music of the time and also the synth timeline moving forward. It succeeded the similar JUNO-6 and offered polyphonic synthesis with a stable digitally controlled oscillator at an affordable price point compared to other options on the market. The ability to save and store sounds in onboard memory – along with its rich character and rock-solid tuning – made this synth an instant hit.

    JUNO-106

Released in 1984, the JUNO-106 built on the success of its predecessor with even more memory and a revolutionary new MIDI interface. The sonic character of this synth was slightly smoother and cleaner than before and the JUNO-60's arpeggiator was replaced with a polyphonic portamento function. The JUNO-106 became one of the best-selling synths of all time, in part thanks to its improvements and its even more affordable price point.

    Go beyond JUNO

The JUNO-X doesn't just offer up a range of JUNO flavours, it also includes a host of sounds from the rest of Roland's legendary canon. Use Model Expansions and content from Roland Cloud to take the JUNO-X even further!

    XV-5080, RD-Piano, and Vocoder

With over 900 PCM-based presets from the XV-5080 – ranging across acoustic instruments and vintage synths to drums and more experimental sounds – the JUNO-X is capable of harnessing an endless array of sounds and tones. Access the spirit of Roland's famous RD stage piano series for a truly expressive acoustic piano experience. Plug in a mic and use the Vocoder Model with any JUNO-X sound to create futuristic pads or robotic voicings!

    Layer upon Layer

Previous vintage iterations of the JUNO synth series had modest sound capabilities using a single DCO (digitally controlled oscillator). Now with the JUNO-X you can go further and layer multiple JUNOs to explore uncharted analogue-flavoured goodness, from huge leads and basses to gorgeous pads. You can even stack Model Expansions with onboard sounds to build the synth tone of your dreams!

    The famous Juno chorus, advanced!

The stereo chorus featured in the classic JUNO synths was one of the most beloved features, adding instant depth and richness to any sound. JUNO-X provides both chorus modes from the original models, as well as a new third mode with even more width and swirl. You can even combine these chorus modes to create seven different effects for use with any JUNO-X tone!

Along with the JUNO choruses, JUNO-X also includes a variety of additional effects to colour your sounds. Independent MFX and EQ are available for different parts, alongside drive, delay, and reverb. Master EQ and compressor effects are also available, along with dedicated vocal effects for the mic input.

Roland Cloud SRX Studio Virtual Instrument Plugin – Lifetime Key

Here's What Roland say About the Cloud SRX Studio Virtual Instrument:

Inspired by the third entry in the SRX wave expansion board series, SRX STUDIO focuses on core studio instrumentation sampled with natural ambience. Filled with detailed recordings from professional studios across the globe, this versatile collection delivers expressive pianos, crisp guitars, refined wind instruments, punchy bass and drums, and much more. With such a wide range of mix-ready sounds on tap—plus built-in effects—you can build an entire professional production using multiple instances of this one plug-in.

Roland Wave Expansion Boards—The Composer’s Toolkit

Before virtual instrument plug-ins became commonplace, Roland keyboards and sound modules were the pro solution for accessing a wide variety of high-quality sounds in one place. Instruments like the JV-1080, XP-80, XV-5080, and numerous others offered the ability to expand their sounds with user-installable expansion boards, each loaded with a specialised sampled waveform set for different styles and genres.

After debuting the concept in 1992 with the JV-80 synth, Roland’s wave expansion board releases eventually grew to over 30 titles across two formats and multiple generations of supported instruments. For two-plus decades, SRX and SR-JV80 boards were an everyday staple for the world’s top producers, composers, and performers, and their sounds have been heard in countless hit songs, film soundtracks, and all types of media.

    Plug In to a Classic

The SRX software synthesizer plug-ins bring the well-loved sounds of Roland’s legacy SRX and SR-JV80 wave expansion boards to your modern music production workflow. Digital Circuit Behaviour (DCB) technology reproduces every nuance and detail, fusing the original sample ROM with advanced behaviour modelling that replicates the hardware’s digital components and circuitry. Sounds can be edited via an intuitive interface and saved in the plug-in for use in different projects.

    Hardware Integration

Each SRX plug-in features deep synth editing parameters to customise sounds any way you like. Knobs and sliders on contemporary Roland hardware synthesizers like the SYSTEM-8 can map to the plug-ins, speeding up your workflow with direct, hands-on control.
