Description
The Melbourne Instruments NINA is a 12-voice analog polysynth for musicians who want an instrument that feels as responsive as it sounds. Its standout motorised knobs move into place every time you load a patch so youre always looking at the real parameter values instead of trying to remember where everything was. The motorised knobs also follow modulation morphing and automation giving you constant visual feedback while you create and perform. Beneath the control surface is a flexible synthesis engine that blends classic analog circuitry with modern digital sound design. Two discrete analog VCOs provide a solid foundation while the transistor ladder filter adds familiar warmth and character. The digital wavetable oscillator and complete Mutable Instruments Braids engine open the door to everything from evolving textures to more experimental timbres giving you plenty of scope to develop your own sound. NINA is built to do more than create individual patches. Its four-part multitimbral architecture lets you layer sounds build keyboard splits or control several parts from a single instrument.
