Description
The Behringer Chaos Analog Random Sampler Module for Eurorack is New and made by Behringer a great Eurorack for Module Sampler Random Analog . Available from SynthforSale now for £ 81 with delivery to all areas of the UK.
Chaos is a Random Analogue Sampler module in the Eurorack format Sequencers, with step sequencers in mind can come with the criticism of being too robotic and straight forward Musicians in themselves are imperfect which is what adds that soul to a lot of tracks The Chaos helps solve that issue by using analogue circuity to be create controllable chaos
The two big components to this are the T and X sections, the T section generates random clock sources based around an existing clock, this creates the pattern of a musician trying to play to a click, sometimes on time, sometimes a little bit off, it s that small amount of chaos that helps give tracks some soul and interest The X section expands on the chaos further by generating 3 random CV sources which are clocked by the T generator
Key Features:
- Chaos:
Create intricate melodies as well as complex beats and soundscapes with the Behringer CHAOS, an analogue Eurorack module capable of random sampling Control clock speeds, trigger and CV probability, scale length for some over-the-top melodies, ambient washes, and grooves in an infinitely tweakable module
- Heads and Tails:
When talking about the CHAOS it s best to break it down into two parts, the t section, and the X section The t section generates gates at random that are tied to a master clock The X section generates three random voltages which are clocked to the t section Each section is infinitely tweakable and can be patched to different sources to create some truly unique sequences
- Warped Speed:
Within the t section, there are three main outputs: t1, t2 and t3 A master clock is generated out of t2 You can warp this clock by turning the Jitter knob clockwise or counterclockwise This simulates the minor imperfections a musician may have when playing to a metronome to give your beats a more natural feel
Specifications:
- Size: 16HP
- Power: XX +12V, XX -12V

Behringer is a prominent audio equipment manufacturer known for producing a wide range of products, including synthesizers, at competitive prices. In recent years, Behringer has gained significant attention in the synth community for its commitment to reviving classic synthesizer designs and creating affordable alternatives to iconic instruments. Notable models include the Behringer Model D, which emulates the classic Minimoog synthesizer, offering similar analogue sound and features in a more accessible package. This approach has resonated with musicians looking for vintage-style sounds without the high cost typically associated with original models.
Another popular series from Behringer is the Neutron, a semi-modular analogue synthesizer that offers extensive patching capabilities, dual oscillators, and a wide range of modulation options. This synth appeals to both newcomers to synthesis and experienced sound designers, as it allows for creative exploration through its hands-on interface. Behringer has also ventured into polyphonic synthesizers with models like the DeepMind 12, which features 12 voices of polyphony, built-in effects, and extensive modulation capabilities. By focusing on quality and affordability, Behringer has successfully carved out a niche in the synthesizer market, making electronic music production more accessible to a broader audience.

Analog
An analog synthesizer is a musical instrument that generates sound electronically through the manipulation of voltage-controlled oscillators, filters, and amplifiers. Unlike digital synthesizers, which use computer processors to generate and manipulate sound waves, analog synths use voltage and electrical signals to produce a wide range of tones and textures. These synths are renowned for their warm, rich, and often unpredictable sound, making them a favorite among musicians and sound designers seeking organic and dynamic sonic capabilities. With their tactile controls and hands-on approach to sound shaping, analog synthesizers offer a unique and immersive experience for musicians exploring electronic music production.
Eurorack
Eurorack is a modular synthesizer format characterized by its standardized dimensions and power requirements, allowing users to mix and match individual modules from various manufacturers within a single modular system. Each module typically performs a specific function, such as generating sound (oscillators), shaping sound (filters), controlling parameters (envelopes), or processing audio (effects). Eurorack systems offer immense flexibility and customization, allowing musicians and sound designers to create unique and highly personalized synthesizer setups tailored to their specific needs and preferences. The format’s popularity has grown rapidly in recent years, fostering a vibrant community of enthusiasts, builders, and manufacturers who continually innovate and expand the possibilities of modular synthesis.

Sampler
A sampler is an electronic musical instrument or device used to record, manipulate, and playback audio samples. These samples can be recordings of real instruments, vocals, or any other sound source. Samplers typically allow users to trigger and manipulate these samples in various ways, such as adjusting pitch, tempo, and volume, as well as applying effects like reverb or distortion. They are widely used in music production, allowing musicians, producers, and DJs to create original compositions, remix existing tracks, and add depth and texture to their music. Samplers come in various forms, ranging from dedicated hardware units to software plugins that run on computers or digital audio workstations (DAWs), offering a versatile and powerful tool for sonic experimentation and creativity.
